Center for Italian Culture & Language: Academic Programs

Expanding the classroom. The Felician Way.

Through the Center for Italian Culture and Language (CICL), Felician University is proud to offer multiple academic programs for students to explore and experience Italian heritage, language, and culture. As we continue to develop and expand our relationships with Italian universities and institutions, we encourage students, faculty, staff, and the entire community to take advantage of these dynamic programs that serve to connect people with Italy and enhance our global perspectives.

Together with John Cabot University, an American university located in Rome, Felician now offers an online course: Intro to UN: International Relations & Global Affairs. The course gives both Felician and John Cabot students the chance to learn about and experience the United Nations. Felician is also offering a faculty-led 2-week trip to John Cabot University’s School of Business, giving students the chance to experience business across the world.

In collaboration with Istituto Visconti, a private high school in Rome, Felician is offering a student exchange program for students whose first language is not English. This English as a Second Language (ESL) program helps students advance their English-speaking skills while experiencing different cultures.
